The AGM NVG-40 NL1 is a dual-tube night vision goggle for head-mounted or handheld use. It has two Gen 2+ NL1 green phosphor tubes (FOM 1400–1500) and a 40° field of view. Each eye has its own tube, which gives natural depth perception when you walk or drive at night.

What does NL1 mean?
NL1 is AGM's Gen 2+ Level 1 tube with green phosphor. It has a resolution of 61–64 lp/mm and a FOM of 1400–1500.
Why two tubes?
Each eye has its own image intensifier. This gives better depth perception than a single-tube monocular, for example when walking over rough ground.
Which batteries does it use?
One CR123A or one AA battery. It runs up to 20 hours at 20 °C. An optional battery pack extends this to up to 80 hours.
Can I mount it on a helmet?
Yes. It comes with a mounting bracket and a bayonet/horn interface shoe for helmet mounts.
