The AGM Rattler TC is a thermal clip-on that mounts in front of a day riflescope for hunting and observation at night. It has 1× magnification, so you keep using your riflescope's own reticle and zoom, and the eye relief does not change. Choose from four models, from the compact 19 mm unit with a 256 × 192 sensor to the 50 mm unit with a 640 × 512 sensor and an observation range of 2,500 m.

FAQ

Which model should I choose?

The TC19-256 is the compact entry model for short distances and scopes up to 6×. The TC35-384 and TC35-640 suit scopes up to 8×; the 640 model has the higher resolution. The TC50-640 has the longest range: 2,500 m.

Do I need an adapter?

To mount the clip-on in front of your scope, use an AGM ARM52 front Q-R adapter that matches the outside diameter of your scope's objective (38–65 mm). You can also mount it on a Picatinny / Weaver rail with an AGM ADM QR mount.

Which batteries does it use?

Two CR123A lithium or two RCR123A rechargeable batteries, for up to 4.5 hours. You can also power it from a 5 V USB source.

Can I use it handheld?

Yes, with the AGM eyepiece for Rattler TC (sold separately). It turns the clip-on into a handheld thermal monocular.
