The PGD ALPHA is a concealable textile carrier for PGD DELTA and ULTRA soft armour panels; it gives no ballistic protection on its own, and panels are not included. It is made of Outlast PCM textile, which PGD says allows wear for 12–14 hours at a time. Built-in front and back pockets take ESAPI hard armour plates, with the plate size depending on the carrier size. The carrier is unisex and made in Europe.
Typical uses
- Spare or replacement carrier for PGD DELTA or ULTRA panels
- Concealed wear under clothing
- Adding front and back hard armour plates to soft armour
