The PGD Exoskeleton is a concealable stab and spike vest rated to NIJ 0115.00 Level 3. It is tested against knife (S1, P1) and spike threats at 65 J, and PGD states it also protects against blunt weapons such as batons and bats, and against punches and kicks. The protective panels are made of many pre-shaped aluminium pieces, 2 mm thick, linked by flexible joints and worn in a concealable spacer mesh carrier. The vest has no ballistic rating.
