The PGD FRAG is an NIJ IIIA tactical vest with 360° soft armour coverage and front and back pockets for hard armour plates. The soft armour stops .44 Magnum and 9 mm FMJ handgun rounds and fragments, and the carrier takes ESAPI plates when you need rifle protection. It is designed in Denmark with Orion Defence and made in Denmark by Protection Group Denmark (PGD).

FAQ

Are hard armour plates included?

No. The vest comes with NIJ IIIA soft armour panels. Front and back plate pockets take ESAPI plates, which are sold separately.

Which size do I need?

Size follows chest width. Measure around the chest: 80–90 cm is Medium, 90–100 cm is Large. If you are between sizes, PGD advises the size whose range includes your measurement, for example 85 cm is Medium.

Which plate size fits my vest size?

S takes ESAPI Small or 25 × 30 cm plates, M to XL take up to ESAPI Medium, 2XL up to Large and 3XL up to XL.

Is it for men and women?

Yes. PGD describes the FRAG as unisex.
