The PGD MICH is a low-cut NIJ Level IIIA ballistic helmet with NATO Picatinny side rails and a front NVG shroud. The low cut gives more coverage at the sides of the head than the high-cut PGD ARCH. The DuPont Kevlar aramid shell has a polyurea spray coating against rain, oil and liquids, and a STANAG 2920 fragment rating of V50 660 m/s. A PGD dial retention system with four Duraflex buckles and a replaceable 10-pad memory foam liner come fitted.
Typical uses
- Police, security and tactical teams
- Night operations with helmet-mounted night vision
- Use with communication headsets on side rails
- Roles where more side-of-head coverage is wanted

FAQ
FAQ
Which size do I need?
Measure your head circumference just above the eyebrows and ears. M fits 52–55 cm, L fits 56–59 cm and XL fits 60–64 cm. In our store, size M is available in Olive Drab Green only.
What does the helmet stop?
It is rated NIJ Level IIIA against .44 Magnum, .357 SIG and 9 mm FMJ handgun rounds. PGD also lists 9 × 18 mm steel core and 7.62 × 25 mm as special threats, and a fragment V50 of 660 m/s (STANAG 2920). It is not rated against rifle rounds.
How is it different from the ARCH?
The MICH is low cut (ACH style) and covers more of the sides of the head. The ARCH is high cut. Both have side rails and a front shroud.
Can I mount night vision and a headset?
Yes. The front shroud takes Wilcox G24 and similar NVG mounts. The NATO Picatinny side rails take headset adapters from 3M Peltor, Sordin, Ops-Core AMP, Earmor and Unity Tactical.
