The Argus A4 Lightweight NV Mount (LWNVM) holds a night vision device on a helmet with a FAST-style base. It is made of aerospace aluminium alloy with a hard-anodised finish and weighs 140 g or less. A safety release lets the mount break away from the helmet base under a strong pull or impact, to lower the risk of snagging and neck injury.

Which helmets does it fit?

It fits all FAST helmet bases.

What happens if the device snags on something?

The mount releases from the helmet base when the force or g-load passes a set limit. This lowers the risk of entanglement and neck injury.

Does it keep my settings when I flip it up?

Yes. After you fold and unfold it, the device returns to the eye position you set.

Can I use it with a gas mask or goggles?

Yes. The two-axis adjustment lets you set the eye distance for a gas mask or goggles.
